Sophomore, I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. Sean Cody has been around for several years now, in fact, I think they were probably the first gay amateur site period. The format they have now is NOT the format they used to have. They used to feature several different types of body types and models of color: Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, you name it, they had it. That’s where Sean Cody easily trumped his rivals because no one was as gifted in showcasing such a diverse group of gay white guys like that on the net. You had your urban/hip hop flavor white boys like Harley and Parker, the preppy/rich boy/Waspy types Terry and Wesley, your rock types, the gym bunnies, the Southern gents, boy-next-door jocks, etc., etc. You don’t get that from Sean Cody anymore.

As a person of color, I think my problem with Sean Cody is that his reasoning appears to be that simply having white skin is what makes a guy more beautiful than his non-white counterparts, as evidenced by some of the really plain-looking white guys Sean Cody has put up on the site over some guy of color who truly IS gorgeous (like that beautiful Puerto Rican dude whom Sean Cody passed on a few weeks ago). Granted, some white guys (like this week’s James) really are drop-dead gorgeous, but not all of them, yet it’s obvious that for Sean Cody just being white is all you need to rise to the level of true beauty, even though in reality that in and of itself is not enough at all.

On another note, I wonder if perhaps another reason Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher are reluctant to cast men of color is because the white models are less willing to do sex scenes with them??? I really find it surprising that anyone would claim that CorbinFisher has any more diversity than SC. To me, every one of the Corbin Fisher models look identically twinky. Sean Cody is certainly not very diverse, but I agree with the comments that no one expects it to be. It would be nice if it were a little more even WHITE diverse (as has been discussed), but it is what it is.
