Channing (formerly Vance II at Corbin Fisher) is a very shy guy! It is so nice to be around him. Some of the muscle guys have large egos, but Channing is quiet, shy and eager to please.

I like that CM and Corbin Fisher both accept models “with previous experience.” Sean Cody doesn’t (unless they’re lied to, of course) which is one reason for the high attrition rate for soloists IMO and why a few popular models have disappeared from the Sean Cody line-up once their past histories became public.

Didn’t like him before, or now. Too big for my taste. More importantly, if CM is going to use models seen elsewhere, why bother retaining a membership. CM usually offers guys new guys, not seen elsewhere. Seems now that Bryan is using so many models seen elsewhere, don’t really need to subscribe. (I’d change my mind if he got great guys from Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher and put them together in a scene, wishful thinking.)

CM has been sharing models with other sites since its inception. Sometimes it’s by accident, because Bryan didn’t know they had worked with other studios. The first official model on the site had modeled for Bryan first, but Randy Blue put out a vid with him first. Sometimes Bryan knows models have appeared elsewhere, like Kurt Wild, RC Ryan and many others. Originally Bryan did photography for Sean Cody (he might’ve done it for Corbin Fisher too). Lots of his early models came from SC. Some of them only did photo shoots (Bryan’s other site was photos only) and some did vids when the new site was launched. If you look back at the early days of CM, you’ll see quite a few models who appeared on Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher first.

If he doesn’t know and it’s an accident, that’s fine. If they are really hot, that would be great too. But Channing?? He doesn’t fit either category. With the decline in quality of CF, Bryan should be doing all he can to improve his site, instead of offering a lesser product like two of his larger competitors are now doing, if the financials allow it.

Channing/Vance has found work at three (I think the number is three) studios, so it’s not like he’s a C.H.U.D or something. These days you’re hard pressed to find a model who is a total porn virgin. Many times Bryan has been able to get these guys to realize their porno potential. Vander and Cooper Reed immediately come to mind. Channing was wasted at CF, so I’m interested in seeing how he performs here.

I would tend to agree, although I think Bryan makes a breakthrough, then doesn’t go much further (even at Men, I think Aspen aka Solomon has been doing much more interesting work than at CM, where he seems to have hit a wall). Cooper Reed has really flourished at CM, but again, he’s hit a wall. The problem is that nobody tries to differentiate or improve their product. CM once was the only to offer BB, now everyone does it. Bryan needs to bring something new to the mix…

Not only from a quality of model standpoint but also from a financial standpoint. Given CM’s limited once a week sex scene (ridiculous), I would think he’d have much more opportunity to make money from more sex scenes at Corbin Fisher. And these comments are from a long term, and current, CM member. But, let’s be real…

The archives are great, I was member for at least 7 years. It’s the Corbin Fisher of today that is not good, in fact bad. Actually, CM archives are very good also. SOem bad guys and scenes at CM, but that’s the way it’s always been. Corbin Fisher and Sean Cody used to be consistently very good to great.

a. Corbin Fisher would rather use the same 5 guys over and over, and over, they must all be local.

b. I would guess he pays less for solo and oral scenes, and he only has to pay more for the Friday scene.

c. It really isn’t a loss for Corbin Fisher , not the greatest looking guy, so who cares. I’d rather he stayed at CF, as I’m a current CM subscriber (though I cancelled, to much filler, only one decent scene most weeks.)

I completely agree about the bed. Watching two guys get it on – on an ottoman or next to a weight set – just does NOTHING for me. I think there should be room to let it rip. If there were a story or a reason for these “restrained” settings, fine. Bryan’s stuff lacks story. I’m not talking about the outlandish yarns that Men have told in the past. I’m talking about an energy – who wants who? Who’s there to prove what? There’s so much dynamic “sexual politics” that can enter into a scene, so many ways to show (or even pretend) desire, and Bryan doesn’t get it at all. Yawn.
So what can Bryan do? Well, he took it to the next level when he did the “Pure” series, but after oiling up some of those exquisite bodies, they barely touched. What was the point? BSB has a better handle on it – decide how the guys want to project their feelings about gay sex, and then pursue that line. “Today, I’m going to own you.” “I’m getting off watching my really thick piece break you in half.” “I can’t believe how amazing you’re making me feel, no chick has ever deep-throated me like that.” And so on. Build a story, and let’s see them follow through on it.

Not on this forum they didn’t. My point was – it was an initiative, a new direction, but unfortunately Bryan did nothing with it. What’s the point of oiling up fine bodies if they don’t touch – if the only point of contact is dick to ass with hands on hips. You never got chests on backs, or chest to chest, something that would have been enhanced by slick bodies. It seemed at first, especially with the edge fantasies, that CM had an interesting sense of kink, but it just never panned out.
