Here’s a news flash. A lot of guys who aren’t gay engage in gay sex for the purpose of earning money from porn studios. I’m happy to let you categorize men who have sex with other men any way you want. For me, the bottom line is that if they don’t have sex with guys when they’re not getting paid to do so, they are not gay. I personally don’t really care. That’s not what stops me from enjoying their performances. There are obvious cases, like James Huntsman at Next Door, who aren’t terribly convincing. Tyler Torro, on the other hand, was pretty sexy when he drilled a dude. Doesn’t make him gay. Lot of people were unhappy because of his limits (he didn’t reciprocate oral, etc.). But he threw a compelling fuck. Sebastian at Corbin Fisher, a fan favorite, is not gay. Nor were Connor or Dawson. Although he’s slept with more men than I have, I still don’t think that makes Johnny Rapid gay. Broke Straight Boys is pretty reprehensible as a site, because they sell a silly, and I would argue homophobic, narrative much of the time. But they are also the one studio that somehow gets straight dudes to be very comfortable with pounding or being pounded by other dudes. Chaos does also, but Bryan Okrent is a terrible director who somehow hasn’t learned a thing about shooting porn in over 10 years. Jimmy Johnson was a megastar at BSB. Doesn’t make him gay. End of rant.
