I never wrote or implied any such thing. But if a company makes the decision to feature/employ/use ethnic models, why try to nullify, de-emphasize, or minimize those very qualities that might make them distinctive or different? Why go to such lengths to mold them into one idealized standard of male beauty?

It’s fun to read the lively debates here! But actually in the video he was asked about his close-cropped hair and he said he preferred it short. As to manscaping, Sean Cody always asks the models to let their body hair grow; those that shave initially always end up hairier eventually, so I don’t think they’ve “anglo-ized” him, although maybe they do insist on no facial hair beyond a mustache.

I dunno. Considering what else we’ve seen in the past few days, Julio is practically Prince Charming.

They certainly did WASP-y him up, didn’t they? If Sean Cody were a fashion site, this guy would be wearing a plaid sweater. I notice that whenever the rare instance happens that Sean Cody features a model of color, he goes out of his way to make him look as clean-cut, with the biggest/brightest “nonthreatening” smile as possible.
