Honestly, when it comes to gay porn, we are living in the 1970s.
Mainstream (American) porn is mostly all white, while niche markets for “black” or “interracial” typically include blaxploitation porn like “His first Negro” (Yes this site did exist), “Blacks on Boys.com”, or “It’s Gonna Hurt.com, which all play into black stereotypes. BUT If gay porn is made for all the gay community then it should reflect the members of that community more accurately. In America our choice of gay porn is between the twinks of sites like Cockyboys, and the Abercrombie style models of Corbin Fisher. You’ll be hard pressed to find any (good) interracial or rugged guys unless you look at more extreme stuff like Treasure Island media. In France, a site like Citebeur.com has more butch masculine Arab, latino, white and black gay guys, and working class guys. American gay porn prior to 2000 was very mixed racially, so why did that change?

A suggestion: How about actually MEETING some of these “insert race, age, hair color, etc.” dudes. In my experience, nothing shatters stereotypes and preconceived notions like actually interacting with PEOPLE of varying stripes and backgrounds. Also keep in mind that enduring attraction often reveals itself after a slow boil rather than a sudden flash.

You and your “friend” might be pleasantly surprised by what you discover if you open yourselves up to the possibilities.

And the whole fish analogy is a red herring (so to speak). Maybe your friend is allergic. Maybe he truly doesn’t like fish (and since fish can’t offer friendship, companionship or conversation, or blow him or fuck him, he has no vested or reciprocal interest in really liking fish). Or maybe, just maybe, your friend hasn’t yet run across that one fish dish that will blow his socks off.

But one thing is for sure: Fish ain’t people. You can’t be allergic to people (not normally anyway).
