I totally agree with the observations about the “quiet” and the managed expectations.

Personal expectations are why I rarely go to the Fratmen site (most of the recent vidz I’ve seen have either been at parties, through a porn buddy, or otherwise acquired). I’m just not that into what is basically “softcore” or solo porn.

I can truly appreciate Fratmen’s conceptualization of the male beauty/bonding experience (a niche that it does well and that sets it apart), but at times the format seems both limiting and limited. I look to porn for the real ‘down and dirty’ to either spice up or act as momentary substitute for actual SEX. And Fratmen can be much too “quiet” in that regard, so it often fails to meet my expectations of porn.

But your points are valid and important reminders of why porn is such a huge business. There will always be different strokes for different, horny folks. :)
