As in any business, it’s wrong when a company attempts to reap the rewards of a competitor’s R&D. That’s why there are lawsuits. However it is possible, likely in fact, that Brody didn’t grasp the nature of his relationship to Corbin Fisher, or for that matter the concept of “contract”, and as a result neglected to disclose his obligations to CollegeDudes.

My guess — and it’s just a guess — is that Brody, unwittingly, double-dealt both companies and as a result will be persona-non-grata at both. He can wait 90 days for his non-compete clause to expire and apply to Chaos. He’s demonstrated he doesn’t have a problem performing the acts required on that site.

With that vehement defense, you’d think you were on their payroll. Once CD complies with the cease-and-desist, they’ve no legal recourse for garnishing wages (for work Brody has yet to do). They need to prove in court that their brand was somehow damaged. Unless of course there is a stipulation that says Brody will pay X amount for breaking the contract early. “Brody” is a brand which Corbin Fisher has carefully been developing for more than a year. They have invested a lot of time in him, and have paid him an awful lot of money, too. He was just starting to come into his own: the Julian video was great, IMHO. He was the next TJ. This is how the Corbin Fisher system works at its best: they see guys with great potential and make them stars. And just as Brody starts to hit his stride, CollegeDudes attempts to snatch him up. What’s Corbin Fisher supposed to do: sit back and let a competitor reap the benefits of their product development? Really, what planet are you from? Obviously, Brody still had some contractual obligations to CF, otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to force CD to pull his scene so fast. I’m sure there’s a law suit pending. Brody’s future earnings from “Bait Bus” and “Dirty Tony” will be garnished, this time deservingly so. Corbin Fisher guarantees steady work, benefits, etc. The guys obviously an idiot.

Yes. Corbin Fisher does have Long Term Exclusivity(?) contracts with some of their models.
The reason that Bryan’s switch of studios had no problem was probably because his contract didn’t have a “Non Compete Clause” , meaning that he was allowed to go and work for other studios.
Having a non compete clause means that you aren’t allowed to work somewhere else for a certain period of time after the contract ends (probably so they can release any remaining videos of the model).

Right now, it’s unknown what Brody’s case is, but seeing as the update was removed, probably a breach of contract, or something along the lines of that.

All you gotta do is look toward Corbin Fisher Laawyers for the answer.

Do they sign exclusive contracts at CF? Former Corbin Fisher model Bryan successfully made the switch to CollegeDudes. His last Corbin Fisher scene was Dec ’09. He first appeared on CD in Apr ’10. That’s four months. Brody’s last Corbin Fisher update was with Julian in late November IIRC; so that’s a month. But who knows how long ago that Corbin Fisher video was shot. This CD update looks rather recent with the Christmas tree an’ all.

And Corbin Fisher has no problem “stealing” models from other studios. Hagan/Dalton had scenes out for ChaosMen and Corbin Fisher at the same time. The twins from FratMen, Jonas, Aiden, etc. It all seems a bit hypocritical to me.

I agree. Corbin Fisher is very anal and controlling when it comes to their models — past and present. Even after winning the case against Jake Lyons, aka CF’s Greg, they’re on his ass again and reportedly suing him for wage garnishment from the 26 studios he worked for after he left!!! Jake wasn’t an innocent victim, in the least, but still it’s truly sickening how much Corbin Fisher loves shoving this dudes face in shit. Check out theSword:

Yeah, the Cameron Frost touch is definitely missing from these pictures. I always found Brody’s work at Corbin Fisher smoldering: trust me just because you’re not screaming doesn’t mean you’re not enjoying it :) In his last scene, he really seemed to connect with Julian. While I dig Brody, on the whole I’m disappointed. Sex on College Dudes starts at ’10’ and goes to ‘ll’. There’s nothing subtle about it: no intimacy vibe. And their production values are the worst of any of these sites.

Major fuck-up on the part of Corbin Fisher to a guy who could have been their flagship model. Something’s not right there.
