I re-watched Jake/Ben’s scene with Jaime (SC) and he wasn’t fully hard during the fucking either. So, glean what you will from that.

Admittedly, I only quickly scrolled through and didn’t really take a close look at the pictures. From what I saw, Ali isn’t one of those tops who only fucks and actually touches his bottom and these guys look reasonably into each other. Jake looks semi-erect when bottoming, but something we both seem to agree on is that a bottom with a raging hardon is best. I guess my quick first impression was just different from yours.
