More hair; even better. To each his own.

I’ve always thought that storytelling in porn is, if anything, more degrading to the performers than just showing two people in a room naked and fucking. Watching naked people have sex is what porn is about, and to me the back-stories always just seem like an attempt to hide that fact, as though there is something wrong with it. No matter how good the writing or acting is, I’m still going to be aware that I am watching porn, and so I’d rather just let the story be “These two guys showed up for their job, which is to fuck each other on camera, and they enjoyed doing it.”

I know, right? — you guys are like, “He says this *now*? And his ass has been drooling over scenes exactly like that here for four years?” I’m just sick of that being the only option. Maybe it’s because FTLRSW brought up Joe Gage, who is a master storyteller. The story-telling sites (like OutinPublic) are the worst ones on this blog, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
