@von schlomo I use Firefox but find myself stupidly ignoring the red misspelling squiggles half the time. Besides, I have a bigger problem with omitting words or screwing up sentence structure than with misspelling. I’ve got to stop rushing to click “Post Comment” before proofing.

An articulate, cogent summary. :) BTW, Firefox has a built-in spellchecker! It’s kinda funny how I sometimes spot spelling errors in otherwise very well crafted blog articles that simply using Firefox as a web browser to write the story would have pointed out the error.
