@ OrionHunter, yeah I just think it’s funny that Diego is looking more European here and now all of a sudden he’s HOT again, when I’ve been seeing people do nothing but talk shit about him going downhill prior to this update. I agree with you about the “exotic” thing to and it’s hilarious. People are really sad.

It’s the whole JLo phenomenon redux: The lighter and straighter her hair became, the more she was viewed by the media-and-entertainment complex as “beautiful” without the qualifying word “exotic” (read: ethnic) being inevitably added into the descriptive mix.

Somebody on this blog once asked about the meaning of “all-American;” well, here it is in a nutshell. If you’re attractive and preferably blond/blue-eyed and robust, then you’re almost automatically, and often subconsciously, seen as the “all-American” type (even if you’re from say, Sweden). If you’re attractive and a little darker (skin and hair), and of an indeterminate heritage, then you’re more likely to be labeled as “exotic” (even if you were born in Omaha, Nebraska or the Bronx, New York, as was the beautiful JLo).

Agreed. This almost makes me wish that I kept my membership.
