We keep allowing these studios to reinforce the mindset that gay men will subjugate themselves to a hawt “straight” guy without regard to their own sexual satisfaction or needs (if the so-called straightness wasn’t a factor, why then would the studios consistently play up this angle?). It is a common, depressing theme in a lot of gay porn (particularly in the porn featured on this blog) and it has very little to do with a model’s actual “hawtness” and almost everything to do with his perceived “straightness” (there are plenty of gorgeous gay models who are either told to tone down their “gayness” or saddled with a ridiculously and patently false “straight/bi” biography or backstory to establish their hetero credentials or bonafides).
