also, I think it doesn’t infringe because the name is different (Green Arrow vs. Arrow), and the costume isn’t a full-scale rip off. I mean MEN defo flirts with it, and there’s certainly similarities, so DC/WB could try and bring a case, but I think the risk (of publicizing the DC comics’ name with gay porn) outweighs any rewards, monetary or otherwise.

it depends on whether or not any mainstream media picks up on the similarities between the 2, and it becomes a thing… I’m sure DC/WB would ‘address’ it then.

I have seen the show — I wish I liked it enough to watch more regularly. I think they have done an excellent job over a period of several years with those live-action dramas, from Smallville to the failed Aquaman spinoff (which looked amazing) to this. I just didn’t have the patience to watch any of them every week.

It’s not a parody — it’s infringement. You can’t just appropriate a copyrighted character in something that you’re profiting from. They didn’t even change the name.

i’m assuming it’s either part of an Arrow series, or superhero series. Otherwise, if it’s a one off, it’s pretty random. LOL
