Now that I’ve watched the scene, I gotta say I’m a bit disappointed. RB had all the right elements and delivered a medicore scene. It’s less than 19 minutes long (not counting that Live Cam bump at the end of the video), and only 8 of those include any actual fucking.

I agree, but Sean Cody has made some strides as well. Don’t forget that Robert came from Sean Cody. Corbin Fisher has had a few black models too, and they were not interchangeable like you say. And he had one that was dark skin that he put with Dawson and Lucas who were the top Corbin Fisher models at the time, unlike Randy Blue who has been infamous for pairing attractive ethnic models with the bottom 3 white models in his whole stable.

As for the bareback trend it’s not really a trend. People bareback in real life. Condoms in porn is not reality. It doesn’t change anything out in the real world.

I like the way you think! They should! If Carter can be on two sites for BIg Daddy, surely he can get on with RB… unless his boyfriend Bradley has an issue with that. Bradley had a nice body but his face was so-so.

Eddie and Tyler were the first thing I thought as well when I saw that. I don’t know what the hell RB is talking about. However, I refuse to believe that they’re not considering Eddie black. RB would be trying insulting everyone’s intelligence. Eddie is obviously black, regardless if he is Cuban. He’s a black Cuban. There are many..You would have a better shot at trying to convince me that Tyler isn’t black or mixed with black, which would likely be impossible.

If you can get past the jumpcuts, music choices, and odd camera angles, Papithugs and DawgPoundUSA consistently churn out some hot scenes with gorgeous men.

It’s unfortunate that porn is as segregated and plays to many of the same racial stereotypes that society overall plays to. I understand that porn is a fantasy, and I am certainly not going to judge anyone’s fantasy, but I think of how much more money some of these “mainstream” studios could make if they cast a wider net in the diversity of their models. For as few African Americans that show up on these sites, there are even fewer Asian and Middle Eastern models. “Mainstream” consists of more than what is presented on some of these sites. BTW, thanks for the list of sites you provided. I’ll have to look into some of those.

Good point. Eddie’s identified as Cuban before, so maybe that’s what RB means? (Not trying to explain their crummy write-up, but I get where you’re coming from.) Quantifying blackness is hard enough without the lens of porn. I could easily see people saying Sean and Robert aren’t “black enough” since they are both mixed, which would be dumb.
