My point is that the comments that tend to come from some posters demonstrate the commoditisation of porn. It’s a shame because there really is erotic stuff in the less stereotypical porn models. This, for me, is an example of that. It’s not immediately obvious perhaps but it’s there.

So for the “fashion forward” amongst us I would ask you to consider a designer such as Helmut Lang versus Versace. Or how about a model like Kirsten McNamay (sp?)versus Cindy. It’s a matter of taste, in many senses.

Look, beauty sells in this world; that fact is not reserved for porn….we can debate if that is fair or not, but it is the reality of all animal species. I don’t subscribe to Sean Cody to get off to guys I’m not physically attracted to with thoughts that they might be good guys. I worked in the fashion industry for many years and I wasn’t hired for projects because of my personality….as good as I think it might be. As I said in several other threads above, I agree that we should be mindful that these guys are not inanimate objects and we should be a little more respectful of their feelings. I think we all know how to offer negative feedback in a positive way and if you don’t you should make a point to learn.

But it is not real. We have allowed ourselves to be brainwashed into what is hot and what is not. If we actually looked at this guys pictures, made some effort to empathise then the fact that his dick is a little shorter then some, that his face is a little wonky, etc, you would see a brave, sexual, young man, exploring his sexuality. You would see a young guy who never imagined he would do porn, or be listed after, taking a risk and it paying off. This is really sexy. So much more then these rent a dick hustlers who are so hardened and transactional that they will fuck anything, anywhere for a buck. Those guys with big dicks and pumped up muscles that have done it a million times before show nothing of themselves. It is painting by numbers for them. I agree. Usually when people make unkind comments about the appearance of others, it reflects unhappiness with their own looks. People who feel positive about themselves don’t feel inclined to put down others. If someone is not to your taste, there are less hurtful ways to express it.
