That’s because gay porn continues to try to model itself after str8 porn (you know, the whole “smaller and/or more effete [read: gay] male = woman = bottom” paradigm that is extremely limited/limiting and isn’t an accurate or complete representation of what really goes on in countless bedrooms (and parks, and beaches, and restaurants, and bathrooms, and alleys, and clubs, etc.) out in the great, gay yonder.

I like Connor better as a bottom but I certainly don’t mind seeing him top. Not really sure about this Colden dood – in some shots he looks kinda sexii (third and seventh pics from the bottom, for example) and in others he looks…uh, less so (that first pic being Exhibit A).

And to me — sex has always had an element of dominance — so it’s especially hot when a dominant men give up his ass — because he enjoys it! Any way, I was never turned on by Ty or Connor until they got out of the twink stage — but if they are going to pretent to be exclusive tops — I won’t be watching their scenes — unless they get to fuck a big hot top.

Agreed. Like Ty Roderick began as a bottom who had a bit of a submissive personality…but ever since he started getting more tats and altering his image to come off as more ‘masculine’ in tone, suddenly he’s this alpha top who rarely bottoms anymore.

It’s not their fault, the market works that way, it’s because to most people when a model has performed as a bottom for a while it’s not credible as a top, and also when a model has a good career as a top and then finally bottoms, everybody loses interest.
