I thought what I wrote was long enough so I chose to just not go into more detail like you, but I agree with what you’re saying mostly. As far as how Corbin Fisher and Sean Cody recruit, they are different. I am friends with one guy who was on Corbin Fisher for many years and two guys who were on SC. Corbin Fisher has evolved over time and has become more upfront with their expectations of recruits to the ACM site and if they want to stick around for longer periods of time, they expect that they go all in. Sean Cody will let models basically tell them what they will and wont do for months. If Sean Cody has such a set formula, explain what Stu’s is…he had a BJ scene where he had his ass eaten out extensively, then he bottomed, then had a threesome, then took the role of a top only, then a flip flop scene and now back to being a top only. I don’t need any studies about how a man can claim to be heterosexual although he repeatedly chooses to have sex with other men. I’m well versed in sex, sexuality, and gender. I’m also friends and family with throngs of gay men, bi men, and straight men. So I know by experience and exposure what it means to be each of those things.

It’s amusingly backwards when folks say people are antiquated when they point out that men who willingly choose to have sex with other men aren’t “straight.” That is not antiquated or narrow. What’s narrow is the tired old adherence to the notion that men can retain their “straightness” despite engaging in sex with other men simply because that man (or other men) wants to label themselves as straight.

By definition alone, willingly choosing to have sex with other men and being straight are mutually exclusive. Does that mean a man is gay if he has sex with other men? No. But it doesn’t make him straight either. Understanding this doesn’t mean one is antiquated — rather, understanding this means that one doesn’t reinforce the tired old reward system built around straightness and heterosexuality in general.

The analogy of men who had sex with women as a way of hiding their homosexuality doesn’t hold water. In fact, it demonstrates the opposite of what you’re saying. It discloses the enormity of pressure to call oneself “straight” and to be seen as “straight” (to reap the social rewards of heterosexuality). Of course a lot of these guys in gay porn label themselves as straight because why wouldn’t they? Being straight is seen as desirable, as more valuable, as more worthy, as more of a man. What is antiquated is that people still want to stick to words like “gay” or “straight” or “bi” and think that those words can universally apply to anyone–when that is hardly the case. It’s like accepting a “yes” or “no” answer when asking the question if someone believes in god. It’s not actually saying anything.

Although there are militants out there who do think that if a man touches a man in any fashion he’s GAY GAY GAY, that’s no reason to be conversely militant in the delusion that despite willingly having sex with another man, a man can still be STRAIGHT STRAIGHT STRAIGHT.

Straight men do not have sex with other men. That’s not a judgment against them or their sexuality, it’s an understanding of the most commonly held and used definition of the word straight. Maybe these guys are “kinda straight” or “mostly straight” or “pretty much straight.” The qualifier here makes all the difference in the world because they are not — by definition — simply just straight. If it’s your contention that there are 50,000 shades of straight, that’s your prerogative; however, it would behoove you to understand that the vast majority of people in the free world do not see it that way. Saying the vast majority are antiquated or outdated or whatever else is grossly misguided. You’d have just as much luck trying to convince people that trees should be called rocks because you think trees are rocks. Trees are still going to be trees and people are still going to look at you like you’re off your rocker because you can’t tell the difference.

For the record, I think Stu does a much better job connecting to some of the other performers than others at SC. I think he’s got a level of narcissism that detaches him from connecting in general but I also think his level of narcissism is warranted considering his age, his looks, and his physique.

Also for the record, you are incorrect about Corbin Fisher only or mainly hiring models who agree upfront to go all in. While these things are discussed upfront, it is not a requisite by any means. The interview process for Sean Cody includes the same types of discussions. Their application and hiring processes are vastly similar. The ways they handle and guide their talent after hiring are quite dissimilar.

CF will only hire models who agree upfront to go all in–there have been only a handful of exceptions to that rule. Sean Cody doesn’t require models to do that. I’ve said Stu is obviously straight because of his lack of connectivity to his partners–not because he doesn’t suck dick, eat cum or rim.
