And don’t get me wrong — there were some true superstars in Higgins’s stable, but he sprinkled in a lot of random guys who I think were now better than Wren, and if they were put in the right situations (which with WH they almost always were), their appeal really took off. On photos alone, I think I’d actually take Wren over Leo Ford.

And boy did he get the right partner! I find Spiro to be so sexy. He doesn’t have that many scenes, and he’s been gone for a while, but I feel like he gets more into the action than a lot of more experienced performers. Happy to see him back.

Well clearly Bryan is not the cinematographer William Higgins was cuz Wren is no Leo or Lance. They, especially Leo, lit up the screen with sex appeal but I’m not getting that from Wren. But I get your point…

I mostly agree, but as a big-dicked bottom for someone more rugged and muscular, I think it can work. I’m looking forward to checking it out. You know, William Higgins (not the one who makes those lame Euro movies now, but the director he used to be 30 years ago) could take someone like Wren and make him into a superstar with great cinematography. If you look at the guys in Leo and Lance and Sailor in the Wild, half of them are cut from the same cloth. And yet, for me, those movies are timeless.
