In the US, the aesthetic for beauty is European: Euro-featured faces, light skin, straight hair. If you don’t believe that, then just look as the guys usually featured in gay porn. The European aesthetic is so pervasive that it even applies to the so-called blacks seen in mainstream film and TV: they tend to have European facial features, wear makeup to lighten their faces, and straighten and even lighten their hair.

You won’t see Jarec bottom again before his contract with MEN runs out in May 2015. MEN originally offered him a 30 movies over 12 months, with him bottoming in the last 6, but Jarec refused to bottom, so MEN cut back the offer to 24 movies, top only. The “new image” that Jarec talks about in his interview for MEN means “I’m top only now.” But I suspect that if Jarec wants MEN to give him a new contract in May 2015, they will insist that he bottom. Since Jarec has no formal education beyond high school, no special job skills, no discernible talents, no work experience other than painting houses and being G4P, an oversized ego, and delusions of grandeur, he will most likely be bottoming again sometime after May 2015.
