It’s a little odd the way Bryan does things. He pulls back the curtain in his write-ups (sometimes he pulls it too far back) but other than that its radio silence. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t really have the staff to go heavy with social media. Sean Cody didn’t get into that arena until recently. Corbin Fisher has been doing it for a while, to varying degrees. Again, it’s another thing where you have to walk a fine line. Showing people what you have coming up is good business sense. But sometimes that backfires. Look at how much stuff Randy Blue teases, and it doesn’t come out for months.
I’ve never understood why Bryan is so averse to people making pairing suggestions. Why wouldn’t you want to hear from your target audience. I think sometimes he lets his personal relationship with this guys interfere. That might help in some ways by helping you match up personality types, but it also prevents unexpected surprises.
The “My friends can’t see me stick my dick in an ass” stuff puzzles me too. Bryan is already inferring that these guys are bi. In some cases the models are friends with other models (like Kato). Bryan’s whole system can be frustrating, because there’s no transparency and no instant gratification.

He has social media pages on Twitter and Tumblr, but he doesn’t use them to their maximum effect, show behind-the-scenes moments, give any insight into what’s happening at the studio, offer previews, or interact with any fans. He’s never returned any of my tweets commenting on scenes or making requests — and he doesn’t reply to anyone else either.

Couple that with the fact that he only has ONE hardcore release a week, and it’s a very difficult studio to love and rely on. You wait all week for that Friday update and if it’s less-than-ideal (which it almost always is), you feel like the whole week at Chaosmen was a waste and you have to start all over again.

And the result is that we never know what the fuck is happening at the studio — or who’s fucking whom. They film months in advance of releases. This means that when there are really hot solo models, you never know if they left forever, or if Bryan is just taking his time releasing a scene. You literally have to forget guys slowly over time, at least until a few come back. It’s great that Bryan gets guys to uniformly do oral scenes, but even the ones who come back take weeks (or months!) to do so.

But by far the most disappointing thing about ChaosMen is that there are so many solo guys who have gay sex experiences. And then they a) never come back. Or b) turn out to be tepid, terrible performers, like Pax. Models like Chet piss me off. He likes gay sex, but won’t come back because he doesn’t want to do it on-camera — so everyone can see. I’d really like to know what goes on in Bryan’s head. I get that he has to walk a fine line between pushing models to explore their boundaries, and keeping them comfortable enough that they want to keep coming back. I think it says something about his operation that he gets mostly all of his solo models back for an oral scene. But the downside to that is he doesn’t get all those returning models to transition to full sex scenes. Even supposedly bi-leaning/curious guys like Chet, Troian and Lincoln haven’t come back (at least not yet).
When hot models do come back, you never know what you’re in for. Sometimes they pull out a hot scene, and sometimes you get something that was all potential an no payoff. Pairing selections might be part of the problem. I’m sure there are models in Bryan’s stable who could get Palmer and Troi to enjoy bottoming. I’m sure there is another model like Noah who could get Pax out of his shell. For whatever reason these pairings don’t happen. Sometimes I think Bryan would be better off waiting to film his models with the right partner, versus just filming them with whomever is available. It’s a hard thing to juggle, because if you keep your models waiting around too long they might jump ship.
I hope Corban’s first top is a good one. I don’t want his “first” bottoming scene to have any hiccups.
