You’re certainly right about Gay Hoopla – although I don’t mind the cheesy plots if there’s some tension or edge to them, and the eyes closed if there’s a rationale or connection coming through somehow else. Gay Hoopla mostly flatlines, with a few exceptions – Dimitri and Philip from last year, and that recent one where Dimitri sent (Zane?) to upbraid a tardy model (didn’t quite work, but almost did…).

GH, in a small way, is like Bel Ami…all window dressing. Gay Hoopla scores extraordinarily hot looking models but can’t get them to perform. BA at least performs lip service to performance.
