Interesting…..I can’t believe I’m about to type this, but this actually was not a bad first scene. I’m only slightly aware of who Johnny Rapid is, so I don’t really have an annoyance with him like others. From a purely compositional staindpoint- the pic that’s 8th from the bottom is really intriguing. Dennis looks into the camera, but Johnny’s profile is viewed, and in the mirror it’s the exact opposite. Johnny’s arm is also perfectly placed to allow a seamless transition.

Of course, it had to be followed immediately by Johnny’s patented “I’m-getting-plowed-so-I-have-to-grimace-like-I’m-a-tight-virgin-on-her-wedding-night” travesty of a facial expression, but for a brief moment I was impressed.
