He made a lot of scene, but he isn’t overused like Corbin Fisher do with his own models.

Agee. They do nothing for the viewer, and in fact prevents the viewer from seeing anything. No point of seeing them in the scene.

No kidding. Or you’d need a microscope to see it. When he says someone was being all bossy or dominant, I get momentarily excited, then realize that means literally nothing more than the odd grunt or “yeah”.

Showcasing passion doesn’t seem to be in Bryan’s wheelhouse.

Not on this forum they didn’t. My point was – it was an initiative, a new direction, but unfortunately Bryan did nothing with it. What’s the point of oiling up fine bodies if they don’t touch – if the only point of contact is dick to ass with hands on hips. You never got chests on backs, or chest to chest, something that would have been enhanced by slick bodies. It seemed at first, especially with the edge fantasies, that CM had an interesting sense of kink, but it just never panned out.

I completely agree about the bed. Watching two guys get it on – on an ottoman or next to a weight set – just does NOTHING for me. I think there should be room to let it rip. If there were a story or a reason for these “restrained” settings, fine. Bryan’s stuff lacks story. I’m not talking about the outlandish yarns that Men have told in the past. I’m talking about an energy – who wants who? Who’s there to prove what? There’s so much dynamic “sexual politics” that can enter into a scene, so many ways to show (or even pretend) desire, and Bryan doesn’t get it at all. He focuses instead on when someone went flaccid, what it took to get someone to nut, what it smelled like, where his camera was and why he sprained his ankle trying to relocate to get the money shot. Yawn.
So what can Bryan do? Well, he took it to the next level when he did the “Pure” series, but after oiling up some of those exquisite bodies, they barely touched. What was the point? BSB has a better handle on it – decide how the guys want to project their feelings about gay sex, and then pursue that line. “Today, I’m going to own you.” “I’m getting off watching my really thick piece break you in half.” “I can’t believe how amazing you’re making me feel, no chick has ever deep-throated me like that.” And so on. Build a story, and let’s see them follow through on it.

The archives are great, I was member for at least 7 years. It’s the Corbin Fisher of today that is not good, in fact bad. Actually, CM archives are very good also. SOem bad guys and scenes at CM, but that’s the way it’s always been. Corbin Fisher and Sean Cody used to be consistently very good to great.

I would tend to agree, although I think Bryan makes a breakthrough, then doesn’t go much further (even at Men, I think Aspen aka Solomon has been doing much more interesting work than at CM, where he seems to have hit a wall). Cooper Reed has really flourished at CM, but again, he’s hit a wall. The problem is that nobody tries to differentiate or improve their product. CM once was the only to offer BB, now everyone does it. Bryan needs to bring something new to the mix…
