Maybe ask for the hyper straight rhetoric and the ignoring of gay men in the industry to be done away with. Asking for studios to not hire hot straight men who want to have sex with other men, isn’t really realistic and I’d guess most people would not want to see that. I’m sure you can however call for a large number of people to ask for the gay shaming to be put to an end–I’m sure most people can get down with that.

It’s not just on blogs tho it’s on their damn site, as someone who mentioned before they never bother to actually write up the word gay or bi… And even if they are gay men who aren’t attracted to each other i can bet that their scene will be far better than two str8 men attempting to have gay sex. My argument is that str8 men should really commit to gay sex(rimming, kissing, etc) or GTFO of gay porn. Tried JSL. Just 2 guys in a hotel room. Scenes are short, no more than 15 minutes, not always the best angles, looks like some faking, end abruptly. Not really worth it, even for 50% off. Helix look too twinky for the most part, though production values seem very good.

I hear you. Not accusing you of this, but sometimes it seems that people here think any fantasy involving a straight guy is self-hating. I for one used to be highly put off by SC’s need to characterize every model as straight, and what seemed to be a behind-the-scenes effort to get gay models to downplay that aspect of who they were. That was self-loathing as far as I’m concerned. I think they’ve mended their ways somewhat, if Tanner is any indication. I think my main point is just that Gay Hoopla is bad, and doesn’t really set off huge homophobia alarms, apart from the contempt with which they seem to hold their audience, given their atrocious product.
