Too many videos have come and gone for me to have a clear sense of the studio’s heyday, but it’s stunning to me how long your and Scrapple’s lists were, and there are still guys whom you didn’t name from 2011 — chief among them Isaiah! But thank you for remembering Clay. I think Clay at one point was borderline fat and had at least one bad haircut, but something about him transcended specifics about his appearance. I think 2011 is probably a safe bet for the peak, with summer of 2011 being a still safer (lol @ “safer”) bet for the specific season. I think Taylor and Valentino might be the most stunning video they ever did in terms of just the visual shock of a guy as hot as Valentino appearing out of nowhere and getting his ass owned by someone as hot as Taylor. The list of videos with two guys as hot as those two is a short one.

There were a few bad apples that kept popping up in 2011, and I was always wishing I could be rid of them — I never liked Kristopher once he got fully inked, I NEVER liked Hayden. But there were some AH mazing scenes that year, including Heath fucking Chip (I was always Chip’s No. 1 fan, it seemed), and pulling out mid-spurt. Fuck. I try to disregard how great CM was back in the day, but this post encapsulates everything that the studio used to get right. There isn’t a single dud on your list. Granted, some of them put in better performances than others, but they were all appealing for different reasons. My 2010/11 list would’ve probably included Curtis, Kristopher, Dwight, Kent, Micah, Stone, Jamison and Orlando. The 2008/09 era also had AJ, Parker, Davin, Ceasar, Teague, Sebastian, Ransom, Santana, Vance/Gage, Teo, Dyson and Corbin.

I do think things started to get a bit dodgy after 2011, but 2012 still brought some interesting introductions: Jet, Jacek, Cylde, Troy (a controversial name, I know), Allen, Delaney (Delaney!), Carter Jacobs (before he became a total fuckpig), Booker, Glenn, Carmine, Bentley (swoon), Chaz Riley (more of a transplant than an intro, but I’m still counting him), Sinclair, Kelton Casey, Haigan (another transplant), Gavin (transplant), Tatum and Conan.

For me post 2012 is when the cracks started to show. There were plenty of hot guys (Aries, Theon, Troi, Bay, Braxton just to name a few), but many of them only did a solo. Or worse, they came back for a beej, seemed to really enjoy the experience, and were never heard from again. Seriously, how do you snag the return of Jack Griffin, and you don’t get him to fuck ass? I still can’t process how Bryan seems to be getting more “bi” guys than the early days, but he’s getting less returning players.
