I think she’s a bigger deal in Japan. She does music here and there (some of her songs have been used in popular mangas), acting and voice acting (she dubbed for Uhura in the last Star Trek movie). With all these recent comic-inspired films and tv shows, I’m surprised she hasn’t done more work here.

Tarantino seems to go back and forth with doing a sequel. The timeline is starting to line up, if he wants Nikki to be the new lead. He’ll probably get to it at some point. I’m still waiting for the release of both films in one edit.
