For as good looking as Grant is I think he has some confidence issues that can hurt his connection with his partners. He either doesn’t realize they want him badly, doesn’t know how to respond to them wanting him badly (first few scenes) or doesn’t know how to respond to their indifference, which is the case here. Grant was way into Justin who just didn’t reciprocate the feeling.
