You know, I never understood that shit with Game Freak. They introduced male and female differences in Gen IV only to give a handful of Pokemon that honor in later games. They always add interesting things in one Generation and remove them in the next. I just told a friend that all of that awesome shit they had in Gen V could have been heavily utilized better in the 3DS games. I remember Gen III having a neat little feature where if you stood still long enough in the overworld, you could hear wild Pokemon make cries. I have the demo to Sun and Moon and they added it back.

There might be more. Not like 20+ more mons but I datamine for fun and a lot of sprites were left out, like male and female versions of the new Pokemon in addition to what Marshadow might evolve into. If it’s following the same rules as Solgaleo and Lunala, the Marshadow Sprite that was mined is it’s pre evolution and not its final form lol. The

I laughed so hard when they gave the Kanto starters Mega Evolutions and players started whining that Game Freak was catering to Gen I players. Kanto Pokemon get Alolan forms and the complaining appears yet again. I think Alolan Ninetails is fabulous.
