I have to agree they need a massive shake up in the production team. I think that is the jumping off point. I think they need to ditch the mechanical approach they have to these scenes, let the guys take it where it is going to go once in a while – I am betting it would be much hotter than what has come out of here recently. They also need to quit worrying so much about keeping up the “straight guy” facade. They had vets like: Travis, Lucas, Logan, Brent, Jeff, Derek, Connor…even Trevor surprised me with his investment. I was no fan of Dawson at the end of his time around, but he again always was present in a scene. There was even a newer wave of guys like Cain, Trey, Aiden, Zeb, Sean (RIP) who were actually invested in putting on a good show for their fans. Tom is what’s left of that newer wave of great performers, but he seems to have regressed and is just okay these days and has checked out a little too.

Most of those guys were not as pretty as some of this new crop, but they showed up in EVERY scene. Now we get Quinn who is great. Otherwise, Harper and Kellan are good, but their performances aren’t nearly as outstanding as some of those earlier legends. Imagine Kellan getting topped by Lucas or Brent? Or Harper fucking Jeff.

I’ll suggest that part of the issue is this blog and others who have really created a space to get into the heads of performers. Production houses were and are obsessed with piracy–somewhat understandably–so they took their eyes away from quality control, camerawork, directing and came up with stupid weird business plans that didn’t help their brands i.e. Corbin Fisher Select. I really do think Corbin is just over it all and he misses the good old days of the early 2000’s too.

I stand by my first post: they need a regroup to the basics and get some new blood to help pull them out of the doldrums. Hire production guys who know how to shoot gay porn. I think most of these guys are salvageable.

You know – they need a SUPAfreak. When the current seniors were coming up – they had guys like Travis that just seemed to start fires wherever they appeared. It started to spread to the rest of the cast and there was almost a competition to see who could drive the bus best. Example – the scene with Aiden and Travis.. SO fucking hot, Travis was all up on that shit like the batshit little bottom he was – and Conner got so worked up he came out to get in the pile.. THAT is what is missing right now. I thought for a minute that Hugh was going to be the incendiary device, but it wasn’t catching on. There was a time the guys were almost in a silent competition to drive the audience crazy.. THAT is what this site lacks right now. I miss Travis, that guy had this energy about him that just always made the scene sizzle. You could see the little freak in his eyes the minute he busted a sly grin, and his cum shots were ALWAYS fucking EPIC. Add Conner in there trying to suck up every ounce of cum that cut loose.. yep – porn magic.

Yeah I agree with you on Nash. I just got the vibe there was something WAY off between Thomas and Ellis, almost to the extent of a clash. CF’s growth has been killed off by a lack of continuity. You see a hot new guy – then poof you don’t for months.. OR they are in every fucking scene for months.. they had a rhythm once and they have lost it.

See…I get the amateur part of this all, but no one is more amateur than Sean Cody and they deliver a newbie who out the gate is ready to go….no pretense for drama–see Frankie. Even with the most obvious gay 4 pay at Sean Cody you don’t have this weird awkward half dozen scenes before you see growth. I realize Sean Cody edits the fuck out of their scenes, but that’s part of what has kept them on the top for so long (contrary to what most WB contributors thing, they are still at the top). Good casting, good camera work and a good director–although this dude talks waaaaay too much.

I’d also disagree that the casting is the issue at CF–the guys they have now are mostly attractive and several are downright hot. Probably the largest collection of hot guys they’ve had at one time.

I stand by the fact that they have dudes like Nash–who is no amateur–who come on board and are terrible performers. It’s unacceptable.

I agree, the direction has been tragic, as well as the camera work. But think about every hookup you ever had.. when the lust was mutual the rest just sort of took care of it’self. A professional like Will Braun can get with a nasty old geezer like turtleneck dude, and mask his feelings for the sake of the product. For a greenpea – THAT isn’t as easy. You are right there front and center with a room full of people – maybe for the first time ever, trying to work your junk and stay hard while the lighting guy has it out with the sound guy and maybe something about the dude your supposed to bang happens to totally FUCK with your usually infallible hard on. Now your getting the grim from the director, your co star is a tool and ACTION. I am not making excuses, these guys don’t need them. I’m saying that getting paid to fuck does not make you a pro any more than it is going to keep you hard. That said, this site is falling like a rock because the casting is a disaster and they have become such cheap fucks the talent is hit.

Ellis’ kissing style turned me off big time, along with Thomas’ lack of solid wood, it was like watching someone obnoxiously eating a sub sandwich or something. Hugh doesn’t get a lot of love here, for various reasons, but he is CF’s best newcomer this year easily. Like Quinn, he performs with gusto but with natural ease and clearly loves dick. His scene with Jayden was hot and wouldn’t mind a flip-flop rematch there.

I’ll wait for a Thomas & Hugh (or Quinn) scene before completely writing him. Ellis isn’t getting the same courtesy from me tho. 🚮

They aren’t amateurs, they are being paid to do a job. I don’t blame the guy working for the paycheck.. it is Corbin Fisher who hires them, and Corbin Fisher is to blame for not requiring good scenes. I don’t expect real “chemistry” just a good performance, it is just porn, it’s not real emotion. It is the job of the director to make the scne work. And if a guy refuses to do almost anything, then why is Corbin Fisher hiring them? Again, not the model’s fault.
