I cannot fault you for feeling the way that you do after everything came out. But at some point a responsibility fell on you,of sorts, after you found out about his habit. Going cold turkey fails most of the time. Did you ever push rehab? Why didn’t his family push for rehab a long time ago?

I would offer to ask my friends in the industry to contact their employers/ bosses and persuade them to not hire him again, something that I never do. But in all honestly, I think you accomplished that all on your own. As soon as you said breach of contact months ago, you sent red flags through out the industry. At this point, I feel like I must warn you, that there are more predatory studios that don’t respect the unwritten rules of the business that will hire him. These are also studios that have reputations of not paying people and exposing them to dangerous conditions. If you are able to do anything for him, I would everything in your power to seek treatment for him and help him avoid fiming again since his options at this point are dangerous.
