If I’m remembering correctly, the original Smurf stories were much more graphic. But like with anything else (such as the original Brothers Grimm stories) it had to be sanitized for the little kiddies.

Maybe. I loved the original Powerpuff Girls but the first remake and this current eat ass. I thought “Doug” was okay but was even less liking of the new “Doug” that came on ABC. I don’t know what it is. Some of the stuff we used to watch I do realize was corny as all hell. Honestly, I don’t know what I was thinking when I liked “The Smurfs”. Maybe it was because my grandma in Jeanerette Louisiana always gave us Smurf cereal for breakfast. A bowl of Smurf cereal, a bowl of grits, some toast, bacon and a glass of orange juice. Mm. Miss my granny. If she could, she would feed the whole world because she loved to cook.

It’s always difficult to determine if the stuff you watched as a kid was better than the stuff that’s out now because you’re bonded to it more, of if it really was better. Jem and the Holograms was corny as fuck, but I still have the full dvd set and enjoy the fuck out of it. Some of these cartoons they make now are just plain stupid. Teen Titans used to be my jam. Teen Titans Go? Fuck that shit. And don’t get me started on the “cartoons” that are basically look like videogames or really bad anime.

They showed on the news the other night that most men didn’t vote for Hilary because they didn’t want a female President. Really made that fucking Kaepernick admitted that he didn’t vote after all that protesting he did. This man has no political experience and, again, if you listen to him, he’s talking about running the White House and country like a business. Well, good luck to him. If he thinks he was upset when Rosie O’Donnell criticized him, let’s see how he does against the whole world. And, unlike Bush, he’s going to have more than just dress shoes to dodge.

And I’m with you on Mike Pence. This is a dangerous White House council we have on our hands. Trump, his Commie wife, this sneaky children of his, Mike Pence, Paul Ryan, Sarah Palin (I think) and I’m barely scratching the surface.

I was shocked to see how much stuff I watched came from Canada, some of it it I didn’t see until I went out of state like the animated show “James Bond Jr.”. I had my mom watching “The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest” with me when it come out. Now for her to take the time to watch that and she didn’t like cartoons said a lot. Your taste truly does change when you get older because I’ve caught her watching “Steven Universe” too.

Grant isn’t returning to Corbin Fisher anytime soon so don’t worry, he’s safe from Henry :)

I’m laughing because when you first wrote the name I knew it was familiar, but couldn’t place it. When I looked it up it all came back to me. I always surprised when I realize much of my younger years was spent watching Canadian productions. Apparently the ReBoot reboot is still being made.

Gurl, i skipped work that Wednesday because i got wasted that Tuesday night and cried myself to sleep. As much as i hate Donald Trump, i blame a lot of people from, DNC, people who voted for him, and people who didn’t vote. DNC pushed Hilary to the forefront thinking that she would sweep the votes, i personally fill like Bernie got screwed over. And as much as i disliked Hilary, i still voted for her ass, and urged a lot of family and friends who felt the same why i did to do the same. They are both evil, Hilary is just less evil then he is. Colin not voting did surprise me, but he claimed that both Hilary and Donald campaigns were racist ( i didn’t see that but…). I still can’r believe this orange face fool is going to be our 45th president, 2020 can’t come any sooner. Like i told my family, i will pretend that he’s not even there, if his policies don’t effect me or my loved ones directly then i’m not going to worry about it/him. He’s treating all of this like it’s a reality show, so i’m not surprised that he’s trying to get his kids in. Mike Pence is much more dangerous to me though, the guy hates gays with a passion and believes in conversion therapy. These are going to be a long 4 years…hopefully the DNC has their shit together for 2020.

Ha-ha! It’s because, like I mentioned to Cubankid, I’ve been watching a lot of old stuff with my godson. You have no idea how that show helped me with computer classes once I got to high school. Even though I was a kid, I have to say that Hexadecimal was bar-none the first bad guy that I thought was super cool. Her ass was crazy as shit and I had she “died”. Shame the show ended on a cliffhanger. I heard they were going to revive but I’m not sure how since the voice actor of Mega Byte, Tony Jay, passed away ten years ago.

That talk about them dating always seemed more like PR than anything legit. The good friendship I buy, not a romantic relationship.

He probably feels like shit right now!’“. She was right. Between the raining and that debacle, I said “fuck it”, got in the car, got me some drinks and sat outside to reminisce on some good days. When I watch the news, that bitch is surprised that he won. To know that a number of Black men didn’t vote, particularly that motherfucking Colin Kaeperinick, just sickened me to no end. I don’t like that Trump but I’ma put my granny panties (big girl drawers ain’t gon’ work in this case) and try to endure what’s to come for all of us because those dumbasses who voted him in have no clue what’s in store for them either. That’s why I love my mom because she and I think alike. When Trump said that he’s trying to get his sons and daughter in his council, I told her that he’s treating the White House a business. This ain’t no damn Macy’s and it ain’t JCPenney’s. This is the United States of America. A country, not a business. The two are not the same. He better prepare his anus. He’s going to hold the record for the most Presidential assassination attempts.
