I don’t know what you expect from someone who was attacked and a fabricated story was written about them on a major blog. Would I react the way he did? You make a very good point IMO, that “people don’t always have the maturity or the tools to deal with their own realities”. We msut remember that, for the large part, porn models are quite young and very narcissistic. There are always going to be detractors of whatever you do which affronts your narcissism but you should learn with experience what is important and what is not.
