Sophia’s old ass going for that book though had me dying! What’s funny is that I thought Charmaine was the youngest and Virginia the oldest sister but I found out that it was because their respective actresses were younger and older than Blanche’s. You’re right, the Sophia-Angela rivalry was the absolute best. That would have been awesome! I still loved when Angela said she cooked something, Sophia said it was probably something that she already made and Angela reheated it only for Angela to say, “Yeah, I did but then I threw it away because it smelled like it was going bad. After all, it couldn’t have been any good anyway since you made it”. I preferred the Sophia-Angela rivalry over the Blanche-Virginia and Dorothy-Gloria ones. I didn’t include Rose and Holly because we only saw them once.

I didn’t care for their kids either. And yes, there are so many classic episodes of TGG. Like the one where they get tickets to see Burt Reynolds but end up in jail when a cop mistakes them for prostitutes. Sophia comes to bail them out and says: “I can’t believe these dumb cops would think people would wanna pay money to sleep with you!” Can you imagine what an episode with all three Petrillo siblings Angela, Sophia and Angelo would’ve been like? The zingers, one-liners and insults would have me in tears of laughter! :D
