I only drove that way when I was conducting an attack or under attack – I don’t drive like an old lady, but I don’t drive balls-out like my husband. Wait – sometimes I do drive balls-out . . . but you know what I mean! LOL

This is probably way too much for the boards, but having no alternate method, I’ll share this. During May my husband was in the hospital twice (allergic reaction to a tick bite – I call it a tick attack when the damn thing burrows its entire damn body under your skin!), and the second time my in-laws and my parents came in – guess they thought the first time, YEAH, WHATEVER, but the second time it got serious. Anyway, when they were here, I let them drive my car, so I HAD to drive his “toy” as I call it. He encouraged me to, but I didn’t want to. But I’ll admit that by the third or fourth day, when I’d be driving out on 214 and 424 headed to the District from home or back home on 424 and 214, in the couple of places where it gets windy, I cranked that baby up and took those roads like I was on the Autostrada and DAMN was it fun! LOL I’m back in my big HUGE SUV, the wedding present from my husband that replaced my beloved Edge, and I’m back to driving like it’s a troop carrier again!

Must be nice!! HB usually won’t let me drive, he says I’m gonna wind up like Paul Walker lol. He drives like an old woman.

Porsche 911’s are beautiful, no doubt about it. But for me, a guy who’s almost 6’5″, impractical. My husband is almost 6’7″ (in fact his Army record and driver’s license have him as 6’7″ but he says 6’6″ 1/2), and his Zagato is just absurd in my opinion. Yet I DO love it when I’m in it with him and he “drives it like he stole it” – funtimes.

LO) well I am the gear head, he is all about it as long as they look pretty. I drive it like I stole it lol. So tires and brakes are an issue but for the most part this car has been an absolute joy. I honestly thing the next one will be a Porsche. I’ve had a thing for the 911 since I was a kid. I just think it’s about the sexiest car ever built.

I know, right? A husband AND a Zagato (or is that a husband FOR a Zagato?) – might be worth it! I will say this about that – it is MY husband who is the car person, not me. 6 1/2 years ago, for my 44th birthday I bought myself my very first brand new car – never had a new car of my own before that – and it was a Ford Edge . . . and I was the proudest damn Marine you ever met. Enter my husband, with two cars then which would have each bought ten of my car . . . and now, 12 cars for him later . . . Thank GOD he doesn’t change his husbands like he changes his cars!

Let’s just say HB can afford pretty much whatever he wants. I have just been doubling down on my mortgage payments since the car was paid off. I am a hardcore car nut lol, I love fast men and fast cars. The trick is knowing good mechanics, and sis let me tell you THAT part is critical. I saw a new Maxima the other day, those cars are really gorgeous. My dream car is the Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante. Sis, you sound like a car person so that’s good. I wished i could be faithful to my cars like you. I know the basics, but a lot of shit under hood is lot trigonometry for Copewithfitness, or basic math in her case. I drive too damn fast for something like that though. My ass would stay in court paying off tickets. I like a lot of these new BMW’s and i’m not even a BMW kinda gal. I wanted a Mercedes just to stunt on bitches, but then i remembered that i’m balling on a tuna fish budget.

No way I am going to trade my baby in.. she looks flawless, and from what I am hearing the E46 Series M3 is on it’s way to collector car status. I have this car serviced religiously, not one thing out of place. I get it detailed every three months, you could eat off of anything under the hood lol. I love this car!! 305 HP 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds, and it handles like it’s riding on rails. I may buy a new car when my condo is paid off in a year. But I will keep my baby!!

HB just leased a 2017 650i M Sport Coupe, it is super sharp, but just feels big and clumsy compared to mine. The big draw back to mine is total lack of luggage space, we have to use 4 small suit cases instead of 2 normal ones. I don’t know what I will get next time but it will be bigger. I just can’t wrap my damn head around the prices. He keeps telling me just lease – THAT just does not make sense to me. I do too many miles.
