Girl, I know. From my count, only 5-7 (if you count the American guys who have worked there) have been gay lol. The rest are bi/unknown, but will never date men or are completely and totally straight (they make up about +90%).

Some of the BA guys are gay; it’s just so few of them actually are gay. And the ones that are supposedly said to be gay end up being gay-for-pay.

True, but that’s not always the case. Their more popular/good looking models get to film in nicer, grander locations than the basic rooms they typically film in. Even the basic rooms inspired by Better Homes and Gardens are a thousand times better than the sketchy rooms and locations used by cheaper studios.

C’mon BA locations have been for the most part indoors for some 10 years. Seriously they need to ditch those womens decoration magazines. Could they be somewhat more boyish/guyish?

East European porn industry at least used to be 10bn€ industry similar to California. Internet has eaten very big chunks from both regions.

But long gone are such titles as Summer Camp, Enchanted Forest, Mating Season and Pina Colada – BA doesn’t do the kind of flicks anymore.

And u know there’s plenty of other locations to shoot as well than outdoors or bedroom/livingroom indoors..

It’s Eastern European economics. Work is scarce, wages are very low compared to Western Europe and opportunities are relatively poor for young people. Porn pay rates are American/international so the pay is disproportionately high, it’s considered lucrative. This is why you get a higher standard of looks and a greater proportion of straight men prepared to appear in gay porn. There is sometimes a misconception Eastern Europeans are more sexually liberal which is not true. Most Eastern European countries are still generally rural and quite conservative.

Yep, and they’ve already been like 3-4 times and they’re sending 4 models to NY (?) this week, I believe. Plus, they send some of their models to English schools outside of Hungary/C.R.

I’ve noticed that a lot of BA members prefer exclusive models rather than guys working for every and any Eastern European studio, but a lot of those models want to work for multiple studios. I just saw that Orri did a straight scene for another studio, but I don’t think he was ever exclusive to BA.

I am always disappointed. Besides , they always look stiff , artificial and unnatural. American models look far more convincing to me.

They are, but the Duroy seems to prioritize exclusivity. He’s dropped a few models because they went to do work with other studios.

I think the fact that they have an extensive vault of scenes (years worth of scenes) allows them to be pickier with models. Hell, they probably already have their 2018 lineup/scene calendar set. GD also seems to work on models more than most studios when it comes to styling/working out etc. If you are shooting a year or so ahead, you can be a bit choosier with your studios. The absence of major competitors also helps Bel Ami maintain model exclusivity.
