That’s why I would look at her sideways when she said stuff about the drag future. The future was already here. But I can’t shade her win because really all four of those queens busted it out at the end.

Shea grew on me as the season went on and I am a little sad she didn’t win. I’m hoping she can do like other girls that might have not win the crown but that are still relevant and popular.

Let’s be real. Katya was more out of the box on Season 7 than Sasha ever was. Katya had that funny Abraham Lincoln Dress/Eaten By Shark Look…what was different and out of the box for Sasha. Frankly everything she did has already been done by other queens. The ONLY time Sasha did anything UNIQUE was when she pulled those gimmicks at the Finale.

Lol. I think you missed the part lower on the page where I talked about how Sasha isn’t as innovative as she thinks she is. I even brought up Ongina and Milk. And higher up on the page I talked about her lyrical failings with the Category Is rap. Shea, Trinity and Sasha were always in my top three, with me either rooting for Shea or Trinity. I probably was rooting more for Trinity because of her lipsyncs. Shea somewhat let me down in that area. At the end I did root for Peppermint because she was getting better, but I didn’t necessarily think of her as top three. But I am glad she made it to the finale because she put on a good show. If Ru had gone with a traditional final three, I think and Trinity and Sasha would’ve deservedly had to fight for that last spot, as they were the weaker ones in that last challenge.

Going into the finale I knew Ru would pick either Peppermint or Sasha because of their stories. I was almost positive it would be Peppermint. But even if I wasn’t cheerleading for Sasha all season, there’s no way I can deny she turned it out with those finale lipsyncs. Again, Shea disappointed me with that one. How do you not nail the words to “So Emotional?” Even without the rose reveals Sasha would’ve still deserved to win that battle on theatricality alone. With Peppermint she brought the aggressive “Fuck You!” attitude that plays well with that song (I’m still trying to figure out why Ru used two Whitney songs). It felt like Peppermint had used up all her tricks and only had some glitter to pull out of the bag.

As much as I love a good bitch (because it comes so naturally to me) bitchery is only truly good when your shit is on point. Some of these queens have their edges all the way out and then want to come for someone else. And it’s even worse when it’s the big girls. Bitchiness stemming from insecurity isn’t bitchiness. It’s a distraction. It’s “Look at that messy hoe over there so you don’t focus on me and see how sloppy I am.” And those girls rarely ever get read for their transparency, which is so frustrating. I’d have those heffers picking their faces off the floor.

My other issue is, if you’re going to play that bitchy role, accept the fallout that you know is coming later. Don’t turn around and act like you were misrepresented in the editing and your character has been maligned. Bitch you said those things. They can only edit what you give them. But it is nice when queens like Roxxxy turn the page and realize how they were acting. Some queens like PhiPhi will always have to play the victim.

I mean if it was a Drag on a Dime challenge, then yeah, I’d give it to her. The look was nice, but it was literally different things pieced together. Not just the cape/train/shawl. She threw on two tank tops overlaid with a cut up plaid shirt, short shorts, some boots, socks, gloves, a glittery hard hat with matching lipstick, and the rest of that plaid shirt as a head scarf. Sure, it was cool how she put it all together, but the piecemeal aspect on top of her rainbow look not being rainbow didn’t have me thinking she totally knocked all three components out of the park.

Katya is one of the first queens I thought of whenever Sasha would talk about how her drag was so different and not what people may be used to. Katya presented quite a few abstract looks. And didn’t Sasha do a Russian character in that comedy pilot with Shae?

I’m gagging at the fact that you thought Shea’s Construction Look was just OKAY. It was the best out of all the village people looks. The 2nd best was Trinity’s Cop Look.

Sasha to me has always been over rated. People act like she is so unique, but I just don’t see it. Shea definitely deserved to win, she has been slaying…oh well.

I’m surprised that formula doesn’t include a full or half point for not having to LSFYL. Shea’s Ball win is a sore subject for me because her rainbow look wasn’t the least bit rainbow. Her unicorn was good and her Village People look was okay. I thought Sasha’s three looks were more solid.

I think we all know Peppermint was not even on Ru’s radar at the beginning. It was always going to be Shea, Trinity and Sasha. Some people think Peppermint screwed up early with the plan to get better each week. What I think is Ru knew Sasha and Peppermint had the better drag storylines, so she ended up wanting those two as the final two. But she couldn’t discount Shea and Trinity because of their wins and frequent slayage. So she had the final Lipsync For Your Finale because she knew Peppermint would be safe, Trinity would be safe, and if it came down to Sasha and Shea being the weakest it would make her decision to keep them all less suspicious. That’s why going into that pick Trinity should’ve considered the storylines and made the more obvious choice. I kind of felt bad that she was probably still dealing with that when she showed up for her performance at Z’s award show. And then on top of that she had whatever that malfunction was. But her hot boyfriend was there so I’m sure she got over it. Or under it.

I don’t know, that exchange still reads to me as Farrah trying to get her friend back. If they end up being friendly again it wouldn’t surprise me.

I always thought Cynthia’s win was more about her being kooky and having to leave early. The other queens may have factored in. But like I said earlier I don’t think it’s fair to give more weight to what happens off the show over what happens on. Because again, if Alexis or Charlie had been turning it offstage and winning fans, to have them come back and win that title would be a “WTF?” moment for sure. I do like the idea of the crew having a say if you’re doing Miss Congeniality, because they see it all and would be the most impartial. But you’d kind of have to integrate them more into the show. Which I’m fine with, because I need more Duncan and Sarge in my drag life. Definitely not a good idea to let the other queens vote. Some of these bitches are jealous as fuck and will have no problem not giving a deserving queen a vote because they want to be petty.

Jerome and Wright would be so many things. I just know it.

Lol. I know how you feel. It does feel like forever between full scenes. That’s why the Wednesday updates are such a sore spot.

Jerome and Wright would be sexy as fuck. I’m certain Wright could come considering how hard he always is. That’s half the battle.

But I’m having a hard time with these once a week updates. I gotta age and go through a tough week before getting my fix. And then if the shit is whack, I skip the scene, so it’s like I’m waiting two weeks. The struggle is real.
