Ha! Actually, to give him credit, I believe he kind of created his shop in a vacuum in Austin, TX – I don’t think he had much interaction with anyone else in the industry, at least until he got a little attention. The downside is that he doesn’t really grow or learn, or listen to anyone as best I can tell.
