I suspect that it’s to your credit that you don’t see it as nefariously as I. And just to be clear, I didn’t suggest they be shut down – I asserted that we should show our displeasure with their pedo-invoking scene choices and get them to modify their offering. There’s plenty of “raunch” that isn’t pedophilic!

As for your hypothetical, I can’t accurately respond, since you’ve put it in the context of these two individuals, and my perceptions are tainted by this scene between them. I have had occasion to see what I believed to be inappropriate behavior between a too-young man (boy) but still a teenager of around 15 or so in my perception and a man well of age, and in that case I took a photo of them and then of the older man’s license plate (and car) and forwarded it to a senior officer on the DC Metro PD. If I’d sensed in any way that the boy (or a girl for that matter) was not capable of making his own decisions (much younger, impaired, forced) I’m certain that I would have interceded directly and seen to their dispatch to the police directly. I’m a Marine – I wouldn’t have been able to stop myself. Fortunately I have never been witness to such – but have done so in similar situations of abuse among two adults.

But we’re way off-track. It seems we essentially agree. And why we’re spending this much time on this TRASH perplexes me. So I will, at this point, wish you a good day and thank you for the debate.

I do get that some people may interpret the scene as pedophilia. And if the creators of this clip did so intentionally, that is wrong on all levels.
I honestly can not go there in my mind pertaining to the clip. I see an 18 year old teenage boy. If I saw him as a 15 year old, I’d be first to rally that Raunchy Bastards be shut down. Lets take it to another level….How would you feel if you saw these two in public showing affection towards each other? How would you react? Also, is it possible that the older man in the clip is actually attracted to teenage boys and that Raunchy Bastards is his own site? I personally would not have anything to do with any teenage boy (girl) regardless if he is 18+ but looks younger.

That’s why we’re here – to express our opinions for others and (we hope against hope) for the studios to take note and act accordingly. And while Kris Evans and 25-year-olds aren’t my first preferences, no, I’d likely not pan it unless their acting was terrible or the scene quality itself was terrible. As far as the Spanish Mediterranean, if this scene were shot there, my fundamental objection would stand.

I think you’re giving far too much credit to the constructors of the scene for deep meanings. I don’t object because it’s an unattractive “old ass” man (and I’m 50, so . . . ) and an 18+ young man – I object because it seems clear the intent is to evoke a pedophilic scene, not one with a young man of legal age. Again, that’s why we’re here – to express our opinions (and, as occasions arise to share trivia and/or “T” about the performers, studios and others).

The reality is there are old ass men that do enjoy sex with young men that are 18+. Not all sex acts take place in a 4 star hotel, some actual take place in dirty hotel rooms. Its not always pretty and a fantasy. As weird as it seems and looks the above clip does have some degree of reality.

Further, since it is performance art and is poorly put together and visually unappealing, it should be rejected in all ways possible. By doing that we will show the studio that its product needs to be changed and improved.
