Which is why they stopped it most likely. I don;t think it was around for more than a few month, but I recall it being reason enough for me to take a break from my RB membership that was nominal at like $9 or something.

I remember Silverlight. I believe that was supposed to be Microsoft’s answer to Adobe Flash. But I don’t remember the site making all of the vids only downloadable in that format. That would’ve been an odd choice, as I think Silverlight initially had browser compatibility issues. Not to mention the Apple issue.

I never had to download anything to view those vids. With the DRM it only applied to I think the first two months of your membership. That’s when you had to keep reclogging into the vid to watch. After you had been a member for a month or two, any movies you downloaded were DRM free, even after your membership expired. But whatever vids you downloaded prior to that point still had DRM if you didn’t dl them again to replace the previous copy. It started out as a way to combat piracy, but then was more about being an incentive against picking up a one month membership, grabbing tons of vids and then not renewing.

Yeah, that was a mess. I personally thought that they should’ve stayed with the original cam shows. I preferred that over the “Flirt 4 Free’ type of camming that they started. I felt like they had their hands in too many different things, I don’t know why Randy or whoever would think that was a good idea. Corbin Fisher did it well when they had like three different sites.

Oh yeah. My laptop still doesn’t support their video player type lol. I haven’t been a member of theirs since late 2010, so that didn’t bother me to much. But if I was a current member it would definitely piss me off. I remember Sean Cody changing the way we view videos and people ( including me ) was highly upset. However when Sean Cody did I was still able to view and download videos without downloading shit.

RB could still be kicking if they didn’t change shit to try and keep up with the competition. What works for somebody else may not work for you.

Now they’re stuck promoting straight cammers, and importing sad scenes from eastern Europe. The site could come back and start producing porn again, but who knows how long that’ll last.

Yep. I remember how ADHD their site was…it still is. It has so much going on. I was a member on and off and I couldn’t even find the weekly video updates on the damn page sometimes because they were promoting so much: caming, live scenes, video chats…everything including merchandise for sale. It was insane.

I think their biggest downfall–I mentioned this on here once before–was when they required you to download some software on your computer to be able to view and store scenes that were DRM protected. Spotlight or something similar it was called. It was in an attempt to curb pirating, but it made it very difficult as a member to access scenes easily and I didn’t like that I couldn’t store and watch my favorite scenes when I wanted or when I took a break in my membership.

So true. RB opened a lot of doors that people won’t admit for one reason or another. Their shitty scenes and them going bareback is what ruined them, they should’ve stayed with what they knew. They got desperate and tried to compete with Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher who transitioned successfully into the raw department.

No. They were in the abbey and jay Landsford spikes Jordan and Roman’s drinks, while Angel and Zane runaway. So they fuck in the bathroom. Then Angel and Zane Flip fuck in Santa Monica. The scene with Angel beating off is the first scene where Jordan fucks Zane.
