That’s a common misbeleif! Although most Middle Easterners are Muslims, not all are. They can be be Christian, Jewish, Druze, Zoroastrians, and other smaller religious groups. Also most MidEast People are not Arabs. The peoples on the Arabian Peninsula are true Arabs. The spread of Islam thru out the area brought the Arabian culture. Therefore those who adopted the culture took the title of Arabs. Holdouts were Persians, Turks, Armenians, Kurds, and several others. However in modern times, Peoples who practice the Arab culture stretch from North Africa to parts of North & South Asia. Although most practice the rite of circumcision, Not everyone does.
