Ha, too true. It’s possible (but doubtful) he may write the blurbs immediately after filming, but release them in a different order. Mostly it’s his inimitable ability to describe things in the scene that weren’t there: desire, dominance (he describes the model as ‘dominate’ because that’s how he must here the adj), enthusiasm, chemistry, need I go on???

I mostly gave up reading Bryan’s missives awhile back. They usually are poorly written and often comical when he comes out with background stuff about models that is clearly false. For example, he will repeat claims about newness from models who might have been already featured in threads here and other places. Ten minutes a day reading stuff here would help him avoid looking dopey at times.

Yeah, he was at one time. But I got the impression Bryan was just throwing him more gigs (Serviced) and the occasional tech assist, possibly rent-free lodgings as well, in return for some NoHomo action. Not sure how long that lasted.

Isn’t “Ransom”, the boyfriend who is just a “str8 mate” on the payroll? He was around in the background in the blogs that Bryan used to post. It is still a very lean operation. And Bryan’s decoration talent is no uglier than SC’s or Bromos.

That may be true. And I agree with all of your points here. But I marvel at how Bryan, with the lowest overhead ON THE PLANET – since he literally employs no one other than the models – isn’t clearing bank.

I suspect Bryan isn’t making a lot of money out of the business these days. No one is, as evidenced by the M&A activity among the studios. Won’t be long before most brands are owned by Mindless Geeks, NDS, or RagingFalconsAndAllTheRest. Bryan may be the last independent. Or maybe GISP. Whatever, Bryan seems to be technically good but imaginatively bereft. His scenes are always in sharp focus, for eg., in contrast to some of the shit from the Sean Cody failed interns, who get the color balance and resolution perfect for the drapes, cushions, bedding, etc., but the skin tones are alien and washed out and the action is blurred half the time, or completely missed…. cum shot ? Oops! Missed that one. Bryan doesn’t miss the money shot. But Bryan’s formulaic directing can make some average scenes a snooze fest. Sometimes, even Bryan’s formula can’t cool hotness like in this scene. It would be great if someone could get all the pieces right…probably too much to ask these days.

Recording it no. Repeating it yes. Too effing cheap to get a second shooter and he is not a virtuoso himself.

Spot on. Bryan is an unimaginative shooter, director and cutter. He has a good eye for what he likes and seems to work well with the models. But he trips over his dick every time and really brings the boring.
