My working theory is it’s a ploy for boys to get a sugar daddy, by looking like they can’t even afford a cut. But then some go and fuck other young and presumably broke-ish boys, and it doesn’t add up.
Maybe their friends just hate them, and don’t bother telling them they look a mess.
