All I know is that somebody claims to have chatted with a guy who might be him on some hook-up site like GRINDR. For me, that’s not ‘proof’. For all we know the GRINDR guy was catfishing using Max’ pictures.

The whole family atmosphere vibe doesn’t really mesh with the “They’re all straight guys even though some of them have fucked around with guys in their spare time without money changing hands” thing. If more than a few of these guys are coming to the manse with big ol’ question marks about their sexuality, but the house is being presented as a house of straight dudes, that’s going to make those models want to stay guarded. Why would you share your same sex feelings with a bunch of people who are essentially coworkers and are being told to say “It’s just a job for me.” The whole thing is weird. You can’t promote false straightness and family at the same time.

Oh yeah, you could tell when certain models have no interest in the house and “family”. I get the impression that those models who do not buy into the culture become ostracized, get less work and are considered “difficult to work with”. We all know what work culture is like–I have seen many employees deemed as problem cases just because they don’t run around championing how great the company is and show up to all of the social events.

I don’t remember if that’s why his gym game fell off, but maybe. It was a year or two ago.

That’s why I think it’s better the way other sites do it, putting the models up in hotels rather than have them staying at the studio compound. I think that’s how they used to do it in the Florida house. Yeah, it’s harder to keep the models in check (which is very important, considering the bareback factor) but that seems like a simple enough fix with a chaperone or two. With the Vegas house they’re pretty much forced together.

I agree with your boss, being a supervisor myself. The two differences are, I have zero troubles filling my staff because there are tons of people with the skills I need who are interested in working in my industry. Gay porn does not have that same luxury–it is not a respected profession. Second, my team members are in the office 40 hours a week 2000 hours a year so their behaviors are far more impactful on the culture. Corbin Fisher shouldn’t have these guys around so much–they should film a few scenes and go home–thats what Sean Cody does. Corbin Fisher has them moving into the house and working there full time…another issue because you have people like Kenny directing and filming when they should actually hire a real director and cameraman trained in that field.

Anyway, I don’t run Jason’s company and he doesn’t run mine. He thinks he does it well and I have been saying for years that I think he doesn’t know what he’s doing in the current industry, but whatever.

All fair points. It just appears to be more of an issue at Corbin Fisher because their relationships are so enmeshed. If they were just showing up to fuck for a few hours they wouldn’t be so caught up in the details of these models lives and experience.

Like you say, we don’t know what is happening behind the scenes so who knows…but the Conor drama did get personal when he was pulled form the Deans List. Thats some petty ‘ish.

For me, the only time that non-recip thing works is for newbies who are still getting their feet wet, or if it’s one of those “We’re here to fuck” scenes like Cade railing someone in a gym. If it’s the same model not putting in his fair share of work, that’s a problem.

The biggest takeway is you really haven’t had any former models drop dirt on Jason or talk about how bad the experience was. And plenty of them went on to bigger careers and could easily spill tea and have it swallowed up by the masses. There’s probably not much to spill.
