Good question. BA is hard to pinpoint on how they keep models. Several of their models came from other studios and then you have those like Dario Dolce and Ennio Guardi who started with them, left for another studio and were still welcomed back.

And I know it can sometimes be frustrating that they post updates from some time ago, but are you familiar with their sister site Freshmen.net? They introduce a lot of new models and it seems their work are relatively recent! For example, they are going to post a Christmas special episode tomorrow, and according to Sven’s twitter account, the episode has just been filmed last Tuesday, with Jerome filming and in it 5 relatively new models like Jason, Kieran, Pip, Kirk, and Sven! It’s hard to say. I guess because, from my point of view, BA has been focusing on the same models over and over like Helmut and Jerome or veterans like Ariel. Or it could be just Way Big posting certain updates because BA’s blog shows that there are several updates I’ve missed like a two-part video with Lance Thurber and Johnny Bloom, seemingly the introduction of the former.
