I watch porn on a big-screen TV, which has color controls. For most purposes (eg, TV watching) I use the “standard” mode. I can tone down the orange skin and terrible contrast in Sean Cody scenes from the last year by using the “movie” mode. Well, that was…disappointing?

Sly looks great in either position. Despite all that “How was it fucking a guy for the first time?” bullshit, I stand by all the pink flags raised during his solo. I can maybe believe it was his first time on camera, because there was something off about that first half. Part of it was a pacing/direction issue. A few pecks, then Blake is sucking dick on his back (not the least bit cute) and then it’s off to Pound Town. Literally. That’s all it was. Sly giving up his dick and Blake giving up his hole. No connection. No heat. Just detachment on both ends. And then the scene ends abruptly and jumps to Sly sucking. They both come more alive here, but still, that heat isn’t there. Sly’s cumshot was fucked all the way up. It even looked like Blake was struggling to nut at that point. The vid didn’t actually start going anywhere until that cumplay and kissing bit at the end. That’s when the grabbing and lusty stuff started coming out, and they looked like they were having fun. That should’ve been the start of this vid, not the end. There was no buildup anywhere.

This entire thing seemed rushed and sloppy. It was basic. Everything from the camera having Blake looking all goldenrod to Sly’s ass getting all juicy from what I gather was leftover enema drippings and not an internal by Blake. It figures, a new model comes back to hit the ground running, and he’s made to run through a burned-out strip mall. Nobody involved with this deserves a participation trophy.

I blame the entire crew for all the negative aspects of this scene. I think both guys did a good job. I have very low expectations for Sean Cody newbies because they all seemed to be instructed not to give their all just yet. So I think Sly exceeded my expectations. Well, I thought this was a really hot scene.

There were plenty of things to complain about: the over spray tanning of Blake, Blake’s try-too-hard “bro” comments at the beginning, not enough kissing/eye contact throughout the scene, but mostly the poor poor camera work. It was really bad, they even missed Sly cumming.

That all said, Blake still is the best all-around performer currently at SC. He is an outstanding bottom and his topping has gone from good to now fantastic. He still looks stunning; thankfully he’s cut some weight and grew his body hair back…I hope Shaw is away working on the same two things.

Sly I think did really well out the gate in his first scene. I wasn’t expecting him to be so big, but he is beautifully built and I can see him becoming a Sean Cody star/legend if he decides to commit to this. He needs to get a bit more out of his head while topping, but again, that all seems easily fixable.
