Good looks are over rated and make boring bland performances. The Men on Chaosmen are Fit and alright looking in my opinion.

I didn’t really know how unorganized or impulsive Ockert was/is. It’s very easy to just make an announcement somewhere that you are stopping making Youtube videos for awhile and might not make any more at all. Obviously, he’s not obligated to make stuff like that which has no direct form of compensation tho many could argue some fans LOVE that kind of stuff and they would be more likely to subscribe if Ockert developed a more personal connection between them and his product.

The quality has went way down over the past 4-5 years or so across the entire industry and, I think, because Chaos Men is chaotic by definition, Ockert’s quality suffers even more. Like Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher Ockert hires the top quality models but unlike them he also hires fringe models…models who aren’t obviously overwhelmingly appealing but instead have some less than “ideal” qualities and with the entire range of models in the industry going down, the many fringe models now are like OMG, he doesn’t even care anymore inducing.

What does develop mean? Sounds like molding or influencing or turning a newbie model into a veteran performer. “Straight” guys probably need a lot of development and I doubt Vander needed much persuasion. Yes, models who live close to the studio and therefore don’t need air fare CAN work a lot more as its convenient but also much cheaper.

You’re saying Corbin Fisher has 2-3-4 dozen models who are much more significant to CF’s brand compared to Chaosmen whose veteran models don’t much factor in the same way?

Naturally, people’s metrics seem to vary. My metrics are the constituent parts of a model: face, body and dick and performance. My memory is not as refreshed to recall the number of times each model came, bottomed, topped, groups and swallowing. Firstly, I don’t like groups. They’re too much activity and most production people don’t know how to capture the action, probably because group scenes don’t happen enough. Are you saying Vander’s lack of your metrics is because he was involved in a bunch of oral only scenes?

Maybe if I completely rewatched all of Aiden’s scenes and all of Vander’s scenes my opinion would change but for right now, the metrics you cite don’t seem to make a lot of difference in my overall opinion.

And, perhaps the details boil down to one important factor. Vander is gay and isn’t swallowing loads of come because he’s been told to and he’s practiced and he’s prepared his mouth with some kind of numbing spray so he doesn’t have to endure the nasty taste of another guy’s come and he doesn’t need a cut in the action to spit it out. Maybe Vander hates come, too? I don’t know. But based on what I can remember, Vander seemed to eat it because he likes it and in the over-arching of overall disappointing gay porn over the past 4-5 years, or more, and the proliferation of gay-for-pay performers over decades and their disappointing performances, the cute gay guy with a big dick and a nice body with some hair in the right places who genuinely likes doing the stuff that I consider important, I pick the gay performer.

It is impossible to know how Vander would have done at CF, and the only reason he was developed at ChaosMen is that he lives fairly close to the studio and is more accessible to Bryan.

However, Corbin Fisher did develop Aiden in ways Bryan could never accomplish at CM. Aiden is one of the many guys defining CF, whereas the number of “ChaosMen” is Vander and perhaps a few others who stand out to fans but from their scene histories didn’t work all that much.

And Aiden does outscore Vander on several metrics. Scene numbers are roughly the same with Aiden a bit higher, but he also completed those scenes in a shorter time span. Aiden also fucked more, was fucked more, had more groups, shot more loads, took more loads, and swallowed more loads. Corbin Fisher paid out more money for this, but the studio got a great return in their investment.

In spite of knowing Aiden has a larger body of “hot” scenes, I am more a fan of Vander. But the slow trickle of fucking scenes, and the fucking scenes in which Vander appears, isn’t enough for me to resubscribe to the site.

Sounds like you consider that an even trade, or better. While I have always been a diehard Corbin Fisher fan, in all its straight guy worshiping glory, any Corbin Fisher “straight” guy would have a hard time competing with “Vander” and outscoring him in any metric, perhaps except for the few periods where Vander got too jiggly to earn my Grade A. Hey, nobody’s perfect.

Unsurprisingly, based on my remarks, Aiden was not one of my favorites. He kinda reminds me of Colt in that they seem to have a rabid fan base for reasons that passeth my understanding. (So much of the time, Colt needed to be an exclusive bottom because his dick was wobbly, at best, waaaaaaaaay too much. Tho, I suddenly remember that Vander had wobbly dick waaaaay too much and Ockert always explained it away as Vander loving to top but could only stay into it if the bottom could take it deep and pounding and we all know that many of Ockert’s models back then, not now, were “straight” and couldn’t take deep pounding. CF made up for it by snagging Aiden, who first appeared as Gage in 2007 at ChaosMen.

Because of the release schedule – solo/service/raw – Bryan Ockert isn’t in a position to develop talent and make them part of the brand. Not sure if he wants to, and by his own admission he doesn’t listen to criticism on the subject. Or anything else. (Like @vonschlomo:disqus I watched all of his youtube vids and bts.) ChaosMen isn’t a site where guys sign up to make money in porn, and I think that why guys like Griffin, Tegan, Jaxton Wheeler, and Aspen moved on.

Btw, what scenes was Gennaro in after CM, and what name did he use?
