Really, it comes down to self-identification. Our culture is so homophobic that I wouldn’t find it surprising if men who are sexually attracted to other men (but maybe not romantically) prefer to identify as straight. I don’t know “Beau,” to say whether he’s bisexual or straight. I’d rather just sit back and enjoy his performances.

I think it’s much more complicated than what I see discussed on these boards. There are gay porn stars who describe the porn they do as much less enjoyable than the final product while there are gay for pay actors who have said they enjoyed the sex (SC’s Blake, for example). And the opposite is true as well, obviously.

I honestly think more people are fluid than we (and they) give them credit for. But, there’s no real way to measure that. So, until then, I’ll just continue to get on and get off. :p

In turn, I’d suggest that gay4pay isn’t a concept you’ve quite gotten your head around. It’s understandable. It’s a — pardon the pun — tough nut to swallow. ‘Beaus’ are so hot, such jocks, more than that such ‘guys’, and we’ve lusted after them even before we were aware we were doing so. Beau and Max are the kids who climbed to the top of the unknotted rope fastest in the 5th Grade President’s Physical Fitness Test, and somewhere in the back of our latent heads we made an account of their already rippling muscles, flushed cheeks, and sweat. We wanted to be like them and now we want them to be like us in the worst way, and will engage in just about every kind of loopy rationalization to convince ourselves that it’s so. I do it all the time. Fond and wayward thoughts.

Considering all the kinds of guys Beau has been with at CF, it would be reasonable to conclude that he doesn’t have a ‘type’. Add to that all the mild-to-wild things he’s done, it would be equally reasonable to conclude that sex with men is meaningless to him apart from his paycheck. Swallow his load for an extra $200? WTF not! I’ll admit he’s a really good gay4payer. He doesn’t reek of cynicism, like say skeevy Sean or Vadim Black. Maybe taps into something vaguely ‘bi’ inside, just gets off on being a dirty porn star, or maybe he’s just young. But I’d wager anything he doesn’t give guys a second thought when he’s not on the clock.

It’s more disappointing when gay men don’t ever consider them BISEXUAL. Of course, I perfectly understand BISEXUALITY does not exists in their vocabulary.

To say I find this scene disappointing is putting it mildly, simply because everytime Corbin Fisher or Sean Cody has a model I love who I think might be . . . , he always turns out to be primarily straight after all.
