Congratulations!! That’s really great news!! Good to see you too, I am really happy you guys pulled it off, and there are far worse things than NY or London no doubt. Aspen is a stunning place, I wish you both every happiness. You are such a sweet guy, I hope your hubby knows how lucky he is. Well I can now say me became a we in a beautiful Aspen winter wedding in Feb. It was way over the top for only 50 people. But we both gave our parents the perfect Jewish wedding, lol. All I had to do was just show up… And I was fine with that. So we are still between London and NY all the time, but I have to say it’s worth it. I can not tell you how happy I was to see you here. Your sister probably felt the same way before having kids. There isn’t a book on how to properly raise a kild. It’s instinctual. But, hunnie that’s definitely not for me. I don’t have the time to be raising another person or thing (dogs included.)

That’s sweet – I’m assuming they didn’t want to split the boys up? But you’re right, that’s a HUGE task. Not everybody is cut out for it, but most get into “formation” when they become a parent. Most, not all. I say just make sure that you’re finically stable and have time. The latter is probably more important.

I would never forget your name. Cuddling, I must admit I am now a fan. It was like everything else about this relationship – new and strange. I have always had a king sized bed, and when guys used to crash with me I would always scoot way to the other side when they fell asleep, I couldn’t hang with the extra body heat. Now it is strange without it.

As for his ridiculous collection of stuff, I told him he better hire someone to get that shit listed on ebay or place it with a consignment shop. He donated and entire 26 foot truck full of stuff and STILL needed 2 15 x 30 storage units. My first apartment wasn’t that big.

I love kids, as long as they go home when we are done with our adventure. I don’t think I have the fortitude to be responsible for another person’s future. We have friends who adopted 3 Romanian boys (orphaned brothers), MAN- they are so in it over their heads. I love that their hearts were in the right place, but it has strained their relationship to the breaking point several times now. It’s an enormous job if you are doing it right.

So for now I can just snatch my nephew here and there, I am good with that. His youngest sister has two baby girls. They are sweet, but nothing that shits that much is going to turn my head lol.

I am content right now, if it isn’t broke don’t fix it.

I swear I think “The agreement” was more like emotional training wheels for me, HB has got me comin and goin and I am not mad about it. The funny part is that I was NEVER a cuddle type guy. Not even as a kid, my personal space had barbed wire. Now I feel all weird when he isn’t here. I can’t sleep. FML I am SO not getting a pug. The kid thing.. THAT is WAY WAY down the road. As for the home – I loved my damn condo, his house while yeah it was 5 times the size, it was a royal pain in the dick. All that and we only ever used the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom 99% of the time. I don’t want that. Too much room to build up useless treasures. Packing his place was like doing a high end episode of “Hoarders”. I’d rather set my hair on fire.

I get it. I’ve learned that you, Colton and Sanfv have y’all own things going on. I don’t even comment as frequent as I once did. I’m still very active, but I usually just upvote a comment and leave. We i get a man I’ll probably go ghost too.

I also love that “no phone” rule. These small devices can be very distracting and even a hindrance at times, at least for me. He’s just looking out for your best interest and you/I/we can’t be mad at that. 😘

I still get scared once in a while, though not as often lately. I have never been good at “boyfriending”. I was never convinced I could ever be that guy. I suppose growing up watching relationships explode all around me – I just felt like THAT would NEVER be me. So the easiest way to ensure that.. cut and run before any attachment could form. HB.. the little fucker just snuck right the fuck under my radar. The way we unfolded.. I just never saw it coming.

We are still technically in an “opened” relationship – which is to say when we are out and about if we meet a morsel it is game on, but we do it together. We have an “understanding” that if the situation strikes there is an insane opportunity available as long as there is a heads up we can do our thing. But since we moved in together I have never once acted on it and I don’t think he has either. For the first time in my life that is not what I want. THAT is scary. Not that I have even tried which also falls under the heading weird and scary.

Baby for the first time in my life, I am perfectly content just getting naked with him in bed, and *gasp* watching Netflix. There have been times THAT alone made me want to run screaming from the room.. no lie. Like all the air just left the room, one step short of a panic attack bat shit crazy going on between my ears. But instead.. I poke my dick in his butt. LOL

So.. long story short, it is getting used to having something to loose that has been my biggest hurdle. After all, you can’t loose something if you leave it before it means something. Honest to Madonna, it is like some kind of bad sissy test.

We sold both our houses, and currently our stuff is all in storage. That was nerve wracking. Me without a plan “B”, JESUS. We got assigned to a long term mess in France, (1 year) the company keeps 4 apartments and it’s been amazing. We got sent to Dallas for a week although HB had to flit off to Boston over some “family” issue and will return Tuesday. After that Paris for a week and we are back stateside for a month’s vacation. I haven’t heard what the next assignment might be – other than it is in the US.

TBH I am in no hurry. I wouldn’t care if we never bought another house lol. I haven’t made a bed or washed a dish for a year. YAY.

As for the disappearing act, HB and I made a pact when we decided to take a run at this to trim all distractions. It was far more difficult than I thought it would be (He threw one of my phones out the window on the 405 and locked my tablet up in storage lol) but the result was worth it. It is hard enough when both our jobs tend to bleed into our personal time, We deleted all our social pages and outside noise. It was worth it. So – I will probably never be here like I was, but opening permitted.

I miss you guys, but I can’t blow this. OMG. See – scary.

I’m glad everything is well and you two are still going strong. Love is a beautiful thing.

Awe!! I missed you too! Yep, I am still with HB – and things are really damn good. ( I hate putting that in print, like I am afraid I’ll jynx it.) Been a crazy year!
