According to Dink, he’s working with what he was given. He purchased the site in 2010 and he says a lot of the older content wasn’t salvageable. It’s a huge loss, and he says the same thing happened with the old Active Duty live shows. The hosting service didn’t do what they were supposed to and about 3/4 of them were inaccessible.

Most of the scenes I’ve downloaded so far are hardcore scenes, I think it would depend on a person’s definition of “many”. But I’ve been long familiar with this website and most of the scenes up I recognize as being from the 2005-2008 era (the production dates should back that up). It’s older, but still hot.

Yeah, that’s why I’m not really interested in subscribing until he puts out more content. I don’t care much for the old stuff because as I don’t have enough time to watch them. As for AD, the endings are really bad but the sex is slightly more interesting than NDS.

I took a membership to ASG and there aren’t many hardcore scenes. All of the hardcore scenes date back to around 2000 or so, they are at least 10 years old. Only two of the scenes, including all categories, are new and date from last Dec. 2017, about the timeframe you would expect for release, perhaps a little longer than other studios.

I don’t recommend anything more than a 1-month membership until Dink either releases a lot more new material, or what he does release is really hot.

(Active Duty has really gone downhill since Dink sold it. His material up to about 2005 was the best. I had a membership, which just lapsed a couple of months ago. You can see most of the hot AD guys on NDS, [which now owns ADS and has its own problems], and none of the new models is plausibly from the services. And that dopey director insists on having the guys just jerk off at the end, which continues to annoy.)

Right. I think that’s Dink’s way of paying homage of sorts to the old style of filming porn. It can be hot but it can also be frustrating now that we’re seeing a lot of quality camera work from various studios.

I looked the site up and was surprised at how much he elaborates the recruitment process for the models. And just like the filming, I guess it can be hot but also off-putting because of the predatory nature of his approach. I thought Vander was just on an extended break as usual. But if not, he’s had a good run so I can see why he’d want to travel other porn avenues and/or put his degree to use. I think Bryan’s problem has always been forgetfulness. On more than one occasion he’s written something about a forgetting about a model, or a model contacting him and saying he’s available. That happened with Alonso, and he’s local. I think he’s busy doing so many other things he doesn’t spend a lot of time contacting guys who haven’t been on in a while, unless they pop into his head for some reason or they reach out. You have to stay proactive with things like that, otherwise models will go somewhere else where the work is steadier.

I don’t think most studios take that 2257 regulation seriously anymore. If I’m remembering correctly, part of that requires them to list production dates on their scenes. I can’t remember the last time I saw that on an amateur scene.

I can easily see how some of those testimonies could come from guys who were trying to cover their tracks because someone they know found those scenes. Either way, you’re just asking for trouble playing with deception like that. Or putting yourself in a situation where you’re being handcuffed and blindfolded by a perfect stranger. People are stupid.

I don’t understand how his whole set-up could have worked either but for the testimonies to have prompted an inquiry and then an arrest, he must have done some pretty sketchy things. It still boggles the mind that AEBN still has ( or had) his videos up.
