I don’t know if we can completely blame straightness as the issue here–gay porn has always been heavily populated with straight men in front of and behind the camera. This is mass produced porn via capitalism, it’s not good. The straight porn that MindGeek produces by the same straight people is bad too.

There is so much more competition and money being skimmed off from pirating that production houses have cut costs and increased production speeds so they can keep their salaries and send money to shareholders–like any for-profit company. Men is producing 365 scenes a year. No way they can produce that much porn at the level they once did when it was releasing 75% less content.
